IP address mask in excel

    Anyone know how to make a column in excel accept only a valid IP address?

    well, i'm not THAT familar with excel, but you could try writing a small bit of VB code into it to only allow a certain number range in a certain cell, or certain format

    So why ask? just seeking attention or trying to be funny? or both :rolleyes:

    I am sure I could write vb code if I knew how or really tried but surely it can be done easier then that.
