Just want to know what your opinion is on a PC with the following spec and how much I should pay for it?

    P4 3.4GHz, 800FSB, 1MB Cache
    1024MB RAM
    250GB Hard Drive
    Dual Layer DVD RW
256MB Nvidia FX 6200 Graphics Card
    56k Data/Fax Modem
    10/100 Integrated Network Interface
    11 in 1 Card reader
    17" TFT monitor

If new I'd guess between €1000 and €1100, but that could vary a bit depending on make/quality of stuff like the motherboard, tft, case and power supply.
Here's the (very) rough estimate I was going by:
    P4 3.4 ~290
    Ram ~120
    Hard disk ~120
    DVDRW ~55
    GFX ~65
    Modem ~15
    NIC(integrated in mobo) 0
    card reader ~20
    17' tft ~280

Mobo (not mentioned but assumed) ~120
    case/psu(not mentioned but assumed) ~ 100
    keyboard/mouse ?

If second hand it would obviously be worth somewhat less. The machine should be fine for websurfing/general multimedia and maybe a bit of light gaming. While that graphics card will play most games adequately, it will not be capable of running more modern games (like Doom3, HL2, FarCry) at higher settings, although it should work ok on a lower resolution and lower detail levels.

The price duridian has given you is the price that system can be put together, using the cheapest available products. It does indeed fall somewhere between €1000-1100.
You need to be somewhat more detailed though, as 1GB of RAM could be 1GB of PC2100, or 1GB of Corsair or OCZ stuff which is alot better and more expensive.

Can you be more specific as to what the brands are?

256MB Nvidia FX 6200 Graphics Card
Drop that graphics card if you plan on using this for games. Having 256M RAM on a 6200 is probably a complete waste of time. For a cheap graphics card 128M is plenty. Get a 6600GT or 6800 if you can afford it. 128M is probably enough in the 6600GT too. Shouldn't cost more than €180 for that.

Also make sure the 1G RAM is fast enough not to slow down the system. As eo980 says, it shouldn't be PC2100. Something like PC3200 or 4000 will probably do the trick.

    Hmnnn,

Being a Fujitsu then I'd expect that system to be a little cheaper, maybe in the €800-900 range. For the same money you could go out and buy seperate components at the same price. You'll get better quality components and upgrading in the future will be alot easier.
Of course that all depends on if your comfortable with computers and putting it together yourself. Alot of people will slate companies such as Dell and Fujitsu, but if you've never seen the inside of a computer before then they are a god send.

Personally I think that machine should be a little cheaper.
