Early 2003 with BT - it used to have a 4Gb cap back then and I never knew what to do with so much allowance :D Praise the lord for bittorrent.

On and off since 1998 I think. I'm fairly sure it was the very first round of tests for ADSL in the country.

June 2002 in Santry (I think (at least I was told) I was the first person on that exchange to get it).

It was €90+VAT for 512/128 per month with $hitty caps.

The year before, I was paying €35 per month for 256/128 in Madrid. Uncapped, though.

I first heard of Broadband in 1998, when I was doing my evening degree, and our comms lecturer (who worked in Eircom (then Telecom Eireann) was bragging about his download speeds - they were trialling it even then.
