Has anyone notice that Google earth has updated it photos of dublin.
They now cover all of Dublin.
The sting in the tail is that they are much worse resolution than the previous ones of North Dublin. So where the new photos cover where the old ones were you actually have much worse coverage.

Pity they wouldnt get higher quality images of Dublin

They may be updated but they still seem to be a year or 2 old...look at ballymun & there are still towers there that went over a year ago...

Goverment probably paid them to blur the pics for the northside to hide it ;)

Excellent! But there's a big chunk of SW Dublin missing. (if only it were true :D )

The downside is that the 'Keyhole community BBS' markers are now out of date to some extent. e.g. the plane landing at Dublin airport is gone! But there's a new one (looks like a ghost plane!) approaching from the east.

Hopefully that big chunk will appear soon. My house almost on it. Another square out the N7 should do it.

Yeah the seem updated but from this pic http://maps.google.com/maps?q=dublin,ireland&ll=53.423267,-6.274652&spn=0.018342,0.040199&t=k&hl=en
it seems the same photo ( I noticed before the same scene - plane landing one getting ready for takeoff ) just poor resolution seems the prob !

yay i can see my house, but i think these are the same satellite photos used on a section of the dublin corp site, where ya could enter a name and if you zoomed in far enough it turned into a sat image.
