    :D decided on the Xtrememusic, getting it from Creative.ie ...i've read even the low end card has onboard RAM, how much RAM or wether it's disabled is to be established....hoping for more info and possible softmod if it is in fact disabled.

    PCI-E soundcards should see light next year, thus can't justify buying the Fatal1ty card right now....over the coming months a clearer picture of how this X-RAM makes a real world difference will become appparent.

    For right now the €130 card will be just fine, :)

    A soundcard? What on earth do you need RAM for on a soundcard?

    you dont. creative are just trying to rip people off.. my audigy 2 is all i'll ever want from a soundcard.
