It must be a fairly old list alright! - no mention of TG4/TnaG which came on the air in 1996

Notice how a minority interest/foreign language channel, TV5 , is put on the most troublesome slot (lowest Band 1 channel is often affected by external interference i.e. baby alarms). Cable networks will put the least popular channels on the slots most prone to external interference.

This didn't seem to bother NTL (Dublin analogue) by putting TV3 and TG4 on channels similar in frequency to the off-air RTE1 and RTE2 from Kippure. Although luckily I don't have any such interference problems because I have good quality screened cable, those living closer to the mountains and/or those with sub-standard cable are likely to experience some sort of interference.

The inclusion of The Movie Channel would date it late 1997 at the latest. TNT has been TCM for years, while NBC Super closed in 1998.
