    ok so i failed two and ahalf modules in CA1, iv been told my options are to repeat the modules i failed, exams and lectures or exams only. i have also heard though that there may be special circumstances where they will let me in to 2nd yr and just repeat those exams i failed with my 2nd yr exams, has anybody heard of this been done? or does anybody know those circumstances??

    I failed 2 CA3 and I have been told my case was discusses in detail and I wont get into 4th year until I pass both modules. Mail your year head.

    Get onto the head of dept and get him to sort it out - that's what he's there to do.
    Be thankful you actually have your results, some people are still haven't received their Autumn results yet despite desperate attempts to get them!!! DCU CA bureaucracy at its best!!

    If you still have problems, I've always found the folks at student affairs (not the SU) pretty good to get stuff off your chest to. :D Good luck!!

    This has happened to me except that Im doing science

    They are gonna tell you that its too many modules for you to carry into second year so your only option is to repeat the modules sitting only the exams or attending lectures and sitting exams.Its gonna cost you either way but it costs more to apply to attend lectures and sit the exams

    its all okay i decided to just repeat the failed modules (exams only) because howard duncan basicaly said there aint no way in hell they would let me carry my exams to second yr! but thanks!
