    hi

im Cancelling Sky sub and ordering SKY+ as new customer to get the better rate of €149....

I recently moved house and did not ring sky to update their database of my new address.

Is there anyway that they would give me the €149 on my current subscription? or will i have to go about all this hassle to save a few quid? i.e. if i threaten that im leaving them will they cavein and strat offering me better deals or will they be indifferent to see me leave?

It seems crazy they are not looking after their existing customers as i have been with them for 5 solid years?

I will not use same credit card so they should not twig im already subscribed....

Anyone been in the same boat?

just cancel and order as new, thats what i done over a year ago to get sky+. you get the free install also. although on the downside, you are tied to another 1 year contract. oh and by the way, strictly speaken doing it will be breaking your first contract (only one account per person).

i know a friend who moved his sub to his country home, and ordered sky+ as new to his original home. It worked for him.

although im not sure if the sky+ is in his wifes name instead?

just make sure you pay sky from a different account or credit card than the last one

All done and dusted....Used different credit card etc. I thiught they would have rumbled me as i used same name and DOB etc but went through no probs. :D:D

funny thing is at the end they asked me had i seem any promos??? i started talking about free install,€149 for the sky+ box and i said something about 2 months half price, but yhe guy said "that i should say i saw 4 months half price" hich was dead sound....so happy days!!!!

Now i have to cancel my original sky box,,,i think i will do that AFTER sky+ is installed
