I'm temped to go, 15 euro seems resonable compared to some other shows ive been (20-25 on ocasions)

If anyone went today it would be interesting to know which new cars are on display (Alfa, Seat, Honda, etc.). The official website (http://www.motorshowireland.com/index.php?whatson) doesn't help much, possibly implying that the main marques haven't bothered to show up.

Maxwell had one in not too long ago, and so did Murphy and Gunn. Gorgeous car to sit in. I loved playing with the paddles :D

It's on in the RDS main hall opposite the Simmonscourt Pavilion. I went today. Paid online for a tenner a head. It's €15 at the door.
It's a dealer show with the following dealers and / or marques. AFAIR

    Rathdown Motors ... Chrysler, Hyundai.
    Motorvalue ... Nissan.
    Fiat.
    Tallaght Ford.
    Peugeot.
    Skoda.
    Opel.
Des Cullen Cars ... dont touch.
Saw a Golf GTi, but don't remember a VW stand.
51st State Autos (Essex, England) American Cars. New Mustang GT Convertible, w/ extras... €65,000
    Kit car company (X2)
    Autotrader
    IAM
    Some driving school
    Some guys selling jackets

    Not there
    Renault................Mercedes.
    BMW...................Lada
    Mini....................Citreon
    Toyota................Volvo
    Lada...................Chevrolet :)
    Mitsubishi............Subaru
    Saab...................Kia
    Lada...................Rolls Royce
    Bentley...............Ferrari (Autotrader have one)
    Lamborghini.........Maserati
    Range Rover........Lada
    Honda.................Alfa Romeo

    and ma-a-anyyyyy mo-o-o-o-re

You can drive a 4X4 around the muck for a fee.
    There are go-karts.
And you can throw things at cans standing on top of each other for a teddy bear prize (I presume)

    Parking ...................................€4.50
    2 tickets at €10 each.................€20.00
    2 sandwiches and 2 cups of tea...€15.50
    Total Waste ............................€40.00

My advice ... save your money. It's a lot of crap. Spend the 40 quid on booze. (Or petrol)

I was at it last year, or the year before. Got to sit in a DB9, and saw the vanquish up close and personal. There was a stunt driver there that put on a very good show, and I also saw the Jaguar XJ220 (is that right, there's only around 10 of them). I was impressed by it alll anyway. The kit car stands were interesting.

Cheers DubTony. I got suspicious when their promotions focused on the Invicta and Ascari. So it's the usual suspects then...and no Alfa 159, Citroen C6, Honda Civic, Seat Leon, Ferrari 430, etc. I guess they're all still in fuppin' frankfurt :(
