    What was that program RTE made sort of like Dream Team but for a GAA club ?

    Was it ****e ? Was it ever aired ?

    Yeah I remember that, it was called 'On Home Ground' or something like that, it wasn't much good, well nothing in comparison to Dream Team, it used to be on RTE1 on Sunday nights at 8 o'clock

    If its like Dream Team then I'm sure its fiction... I'm pretty sure Underdogs actually took place, unless they were all actors :eek:

    Yeah, the Underdogs was a reality tv show where they found a panel of players from around the counrty and trained them to try and beat Kerry.

    'One Home Ground' was fiction, RTE said it was supposed to based on Dream Team but it wasn't much good

    Thats true it was on about four years ago. Acting was poor storylines non existent

    I don't think the show was helped by the fact that the main players seemed to look more like frail boyband wanabees than the big earred crosseyed mulla's you usually associate with playing GAA.
