Caught them at Witness, I was well impressed.

"The Young Turks" would be another act I'd advise people to check out if they like RyG

I remember seeing them support Damien Rice in Vicar Street awhile back, I thought the guitaring was amazing but after awhile it just became boring and samey.

I was sitting outside a tent where they were playing earlier in the Summer - not good enough to move me from my seat (though it was a lazy sort of day, Bryan Wilson failed to move me from my seat later the same day) but sounded fairly cool.

haven't seen them - but another guy I'd recommend to guitar players is Richard Thompson saw him in the Olympia a few years ago - amazing.

Just saw their last performance tonight.
I'm at a loss of words as what to say. They were quite possibly the best guitarist I personally have ever seen live. It was a brilliant gig and they had the whole crowd going, All I know is that the next time they are coming I'll be first to buy a ticket.
Does anyone know the name of the chick supporting them?

I saw them last year in Letterkenny and thought it made **** of Slane '03, even QOTSA and all. It was just fantastic (though apparently it was a brilliant show even by their standards).

I saw them the first night, and it was great, they really got the crowd going and there was so much energy, good stuff. The speed at which they play, particularly Gabriela who really went hell for leather towards the end on a solo piece, was astounding

Yep - watched David Kitt (on after Rodrigo and Gabriela) and then went and lounged in front of Van, Wilson, Primal Scream etc, nice day :)
