I recently acquired pristine vintage copies of playboy(1981) and Penthouse(1977) which I reckon could fetch a bitta cash on the 'ol ebay auction site.

However its against ebay rules to auction anything of adult or pornographic nature. So how would one go about auctioning this so not to break their rules.Could i sell them as vintage material or what?

Its not like theres much 'lady' to see in them anyways, its mostly literature and advertisements for cigarettes. Some funky car ads though,ooo-wee.

Please help me form a proposal

    Sell them as collectables

They are not pornographic, they are glamour mags. No worse than page 3 of The Sun.

They probably aren't worth much more than a €15 each. There are lots of second hand mag shops in the UK and the only thing that makes them worth anything more is a famous interview or famous centre fold.
Just being an old magazine or comic doesn't make it worth much.

Don't think they will get much. I was searching ebay for a 1971 Tina Turner DVD and up popped a 1971 playboy with Tina in it and a few other famous people, it was going for very little maybe $5 and had a few bids and was near the end.

If there are famous people in it you may get something

E-mail eBay and ask them - i reckon you will get away with collectables though!

I'd be very wary of buying a second-hand 'jazz-mag' off the internet...

I just have a vision of all the pages being stuck together.

Yes, I'd have to agree with the others above.
If they were 1920s or something, then perhaps they would fetch more. But as it is, they are only about 25 years old and are still pretty common.
You could try selling them, if ebay were to let you, but tbh they probably wouldn't sell for much. Why not put them in the attic and forget about them for a bit.
mabye they will be worth more in the future?

I read jazz as something else.

hard to say, collectors might be a nice sum for those mags.

    stick in
    playboy vintage
in a search, then click on advanced search and click on completed listings. It shows all the prices they went for in the last month.

completed listings is s great way for finding out the "going rate" for any items

You can get away with selling those on Amazon.com auctions
