In a live game, flop comes with two diamonds. Player A bets, Player B raises all in, A Staredown follows where player A keeps saying "Have You a flush Draw" Player B finally winks and smiles. Would ye take this to mean he he has a draw or not?

Who is player B? Is his name Wink MacWink from the land of winkies? Maybe he winks every 5 minutes because of an old pencil in the eye injury. Not easy to know the answer to your question unless more is known of player B. The old adage of strong means weak could be a factor but if it is a good player then he might want you to think he is weak and so on and so on.

Pretty tricky to know without knowing the player. But if I had to guess, I'd say he has a made hand and wants a call. For a start, people who don't mind being called tend to be more relaxed, so will be more likely to do something like that. Secondly, (and I'm quoting Mike Caro here), people have a calling reflex, they are generally looking for a reason to call. Their opponents instinctively know this, and when they don't want a call they're usually afraid to do anything that may induce a call, which often leads to them sitting stock still. It's possible he's doing some kind of reverse tell here, but I'd say on average he's quite happy for the guy to call him.

Hmmm... I've done that to people.

TBH I can't remember whether I had it or not. I think I may have had it on some occasions and not on others.

I would always take this to mean he wants a call and is not on the flush draw.

It happened last night, no-one was staring me down ever, so when someone finally did i was so happy i decided to wink at him. I had top pair, no draw, but the pot was big enough that i wanted to take it there and not risk a showdown. He folded.

Depends 100% on the player. I used it to my advantage before though. The flop came down with 3 diamonds, giving me the nut flush. I quickly checked my cards (the usual false tell to make them think I have a flush DRAW) and bet big enough. Player X looked at me and I winked back at him. Dont ask me why........

Anyway he pushes all in saying 'I know you have a draw, pretending to be all relaxed, well im gonna make your draw pricey....' he sat back with a big smile. I pretend to be all stressed and say out loud 'it was the wink that gave me away wasn't it?' He smiles back, saying 'maybe..' probably thinking im folding. Well just to annoy him im pretend Ive just figured out I made the flush. 'Emmm I suppose I call...' He wasn't too happy with his top pair...

One and only time ive ever winked and I still dont know why... Sometimes when someones staring you down you just do it!!
