My favourite was Ocarina of Time. That being said I haven't played Link to the Past which is supposed to be bitchin'.

I am finding it hard to make a proper choice.. I loved ocarina and majoras mask and while i know ocarina was the much better adventure i found majoras mask to be amazing and it was only a great game when you did all the mini things becuase they were so much fun.

Wind Waker would have been the best i thin if they hadnt have cut it short.

i love the controls in wind waker and the parry system was cool and it had the best boss fight in a zelda game at the end. pity there was a lack of a goron island or somethin.

I also love the minish cap and the picori and the kinstone fusing. the picori are somethin id love to see in twilight princess.

Has to be Ocarina, but I've always had a soft spot for Link's Awakening, still play it now and then

Link to the past for me. Absolutely brilliant game. It had more dungeons than the other zelda games which is a big plus and I think Zelda works that little bit better in 2D than 3D. Next would be ocarina of time. It's still a fabulous game and very big. Kept me entertained for a long time.

I love Minish Cap. I'm close to the end now. The minish cap is a great item to use.

Wind waker was very good but nintendo shouldn't have cut dungeons from it and just delayed it a little bit more. The triforce hunting was annoying. The final boss fight was one of the best videogaming moments ever.

I think the two oracle games are very underrated. Capcom/Flagship did a great job and I think they are both on par with Nintendos best zelda games. They are also far more challenging than any of the other zelda games especially when it comes to bosses.

Only recently got Majoras mask which I can't wait to play and really have to play links awakening. I only played it for 4 hours years ago but was addicted to it.

Having only played Links Awakening & Ocarina of Time i'd have to say Link's Awakening, i just couldn't get into Ocarina of Time properly.
But then again i'll have Majora's Mask on friday so we'll see after i give that one a shot!

Link's Awakening for me. First Zelda game I got on my gameboy when I was 9.

    console:ocarnia of time
    handheld:links awakening

Haven't played the handheld versions (been meaning to give Links Awakening a go for years now) but of the others I'd have to say Link to the Past. The transition to 3D in OoT didn't impress me too much at the time (I didn't really know or care much about it tbh) and LttP was simply a better game I thought.

In fact, I'll go out on a limb and say that I enjoyed Wind Waker and Majoras Mask more than OoT... but that was probably due to an over-hype backlash (OoT is undeniably a great game!)

Have to say the OoT is probably my favourite, then Wind Waker, the Link to the past.

On an similar note, picked up a pre-owned version of the wind-waker plus the bonus disk in Game dawson street today for a tenner! Disks are both perfect.

    Wind Waker
I never really got into Ocarina...
had a mate show me how to get past a certain part that i'd been stuck on, but just couldn't be bothered picking it up again after that.

Links Awakening for me... just because it was the first Zelda game I played and it had such a sad ending.

This was a very tough choice, but in the end I had to go with A Link to the Past (with Ocarina of Time a close second).

OoT for me, that being said Majoras Mask is pretty good once you start doing all the little side quests as someone mentioned above.

A Link to the Past. A mountain of reasons. Blew away every previous Zelda title (all two of 'em) Dark world, that infamous ice dungeon, sexy faeries(?)One of my all time favourite 16-bit carts and my favourite Zelda game. I thought the N64 titles were over hyped paper weights. Man, I hated 'em. Links Awakening was awesome too(two)
