Then again, there are a lot of student boards-ers who wouldn't be in Galway at the weekend.

    Those two ideas are polarised.

    Perfect example:

There's going to be very few spots in the centre of town that'll have space on a Friday evening.

Blue Note maybe, if we annex a few tables.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,163 ✭✭✭✭danniemcq

blue note sounds good or even massimos if it's not full of idiots, comfy chairs and good guinness!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 637 ✭✭✭Number6

    Blue note sounds good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,711 ✭✭✭Redhairedguy

I could also go for that!

Fridays are good too...... Unfortunately, most places will be packed with fat twats talking about the "phillys" they got in CPS the weekend before.

Then they put ice cubes down your back.... and all you want to do is smash their ugly faces in!!! And laugh! Hahahahahaha...... Ahem!

Sooooo..... Thursday or Friday it is?

Go to the Roisin Dubh pub at the corner of upper Dominick St. then walk past porn shop and strip club and take a left after the last shop and the blue note is on the next corner. Taxi office and musical instrument shop beside it

Dont go in the wrong door though, the drinking section is called 'strano' just go in and tell the barman you're looking for some people you met on the internet

I've had to move home to Moycullen while I look for a place to rent, so could anyone sort me out with a couch or bed?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 425 ✭✭silverlining

that's funny we just got shafted by one of our housemates.if your interested it's in ce na mara, double ensuite, big broadband pipe (3Mb/300K)....here's the stinger €400/month.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,817 ✭✭✭✭po0k

Actually....is your sister dealing with it? First name begins with H?
I'm waiting for a call back this evening/tomorrow about a double room in Ce na Mara.
I signed up to NTL's 3meg a few months back, took the gear with me from the house, have to get onto them to let them know what's up. I've an idea both sets could be plugged in, or both modems at least :)

Anyways, I've got the Ce na Mara place to look at (whether it's your gaff or not) and a place in Dun Aengus.
Need to fit a desk and my computer into a room with a double bed, place to hang clothes and still have a bit of room to swing my arms about with out touching anything but the floor ;)

Roysh, I'm leaving the office now, heading around town for a bit, will probably be up the back of the Blue Note annexing seats. I've no idea how many are actually coming, but for reference, here's a pic of me

That was a good night, apologies for late arriving in the Blue Note, left work late and had to look at two apartments. I'm just after realising that it would've been nice to have taken a few photos.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 425 ✭✭silverlining

ah yes, if only we'd taken photos...

ps I've got a really cheesy signed poster of some dude called lord bishop. it says: "to renee, all my sex rock, lord bishop", so I'm guessing it doesnt belong to me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,817 ✭✭✭✭po0k
