Can you give model/product numbers for the regulator and BCD? e.g. Dacor Eagle DPD Regulator. Also are you prepared to sell stuff indivdually? I may be interested.

<edit> does the reg have a 2nd high pressure port is basically what I want to know. Also how easy is it to get Dacor regs serviced in Ireland.

I also have some other goodies for sale if you're interested and don't see anything in this post that you need. It's also in the Scuba forum

Hmmm-not sure about selling separately-is it jus the reg you are looking for??
Basically I bought it from a guy in England who said the gear would fit me (based on my height & weight) but the wetsuit is too small and I think the BCD is too, so if Im selling it separately, I would prob keep the reg and accessories you know? Im only starting out at diving so dont know much about what servicing for Dacor and I dont know what model it is, although I'll see if theres some marking on it. When you say a second high pressure port, what do you mean?

    Cheers!

Maybe I'm getting my pressure ports mixed up. Just want to know if it can be used with a drysuit.

Anybody else know if Dacor regs can be serviced in Ireland? I see aquaholics sell them so I'd say they'd might be able to do it.
Dacor Regulator with second stage, octopus and triple console guage
Is pretty much what all I'm interested in.

Not too sure if they will service Dacor regs but got my Apeks done with them this year - Richard took them at the Outdoor adventure show and posted them back a week later - even with postage (£6) it was the cheapest around. Not too sure what other places are doing servicing but have heard that Lambay Diving Service are pretty good for cyclinder servicing.

<time passes - bf looks through some old mails....>

Afaik Aquaholics do not service Oceanic or Poseidon regs, but wil do all others.

no there is definitely no extra hose for a dry suit on the reg. To be honest I dont think id sell it on its own, but what kind of money would you be talking about anyway? If I do decide to sell separately, I will let you know ok! Cheers - Mick

Be careful with Dacor. They are good regs and very similar (read re-engineered) to Mares, but if you have the oval shaped second stages then they can be difficult to get serviced here. Your best bet is to ring Richard Lafferty on 048 70832584.

Just checked that reg - there is another port on it - which i assume could be used for a dry suit-although there is no hose for it

Still have all items for sale if anyone is interested!!!!

If you're not buying equipment from michaelkealy or are selling your own stuff elsewhere can you keep in the appropriate thread? i.e. not this one.

Have a quick read of the forum charter too, it was updated recently.

    All is well, consume.

Probably not the kind of advice you want to give to the very people you're trying to sell your second-hand gear too (rofflette).
