last week i got the new Fischerspooner album "ive been a fan since they started" and all i have to say is, beg, rob, steal, kill, do anything you have to to get your hands on this album Fischerspooner - Odyssey. Its a master piece.

Their from New York and they are as talented[better when banned substances are involved] as the Beatles and Nirvana.

Their first album is #1's if u wanted to know..

Yes he did back out, cos he was afraid his image would muddle into SHI*T, so much for the musical passion. ..waster!!

Anyway I still believe that they are one of the greatest musical groups ever.

Royskopp's latest offering is v-good. The Understanding. It took me ages to get into it cuz it's different to Melody A.M. and thats a fantastic album!
They do a lot more singing on this album and its darker electro than before.....track 7 (what else is there?) is the standout track on the album

(LCD Soundsystem have an excellent album also)

On spec of their remix of Prodigy's Voodoo People, I went out and grabbed Pendulum's new album, Hold Your Colour. They're an aussie D'n'B outfit and the album is a cracker. They have a track out ATM called Slam, that's pretty catchy but the rest of the album is a lot better (IMO).
If you do nothing else, be sure to get a listen to their rework of that Prodigy track...storming stuff.

Oh and whilst we're on the topic of D'n'B, if you've not got High Contrast's High Society album, rush out and find it immeadiately...it's rarely off my playlist for long.

Drum N Bass is an aquried taste if you're not into it, but it definitely has a lot more depth than most of the other genres of electronic music

    Wertz,
I've listened to "Prodigy's Voodoo People Remix by Pendulum"...pretty good and a good incentive to get my hands on "Hold Your Colour".

    Any more recommendations???
I'm into house myself so anything along those lines?

House is a very broad definition for me these days...
I like US garage/vocal type house, but no one artist really springs to mind; hard to go wrong with the Hed Kandi unmixed compilations IMO. Oh and anything on thr Masters at Work or Defected Records labels...
Down tempo house I really like; Kevin Yost, Larry Heard, stuff like that, but house tends to be unknown guys just pushing out tracks hoping they'll be picked up by a big name DJ....other than that, I just grab mixes/compilations by the like or Morrilo, Yosef, Xpress2; anyone really...I try not to confine msyelf to any one genre (with the exclusion of hard "house", which I try to avoid at all costs).

Oh and slightly OT, loving the new Audio Bullies stuff...lot of people saying it's not like their earlier stuff but I think it has a lot more depth...in danger of becoming commercialised though, especially when they got featured in that Lucozade ad...

Not one filler track...Racing Green is top class, title track is superb too, and whoever that wee girl is on Angels and Fly, she can MC like f*ck.
One of the few albums I turn down the bass on...
