Serious reply: Is it possible to get an account or safe deposit box in the places you play? You could keep your "poker money" seperate from your real life money and you wouldn't have to carry around large amounts of cash unless you were going straight to the bank.

I know this isn't askaboutmoney.com, but seriously, if you are making a nice tidy sum from poker above and above your bankroll requirements, why not invest in in shares, property, pay of a mortgage or whatever.

I play very modest stakes $10-$20 STT or MTT range, and I cash out every month back down to my 10 * STT buy in , and put the rest against my mortgage.

    I know I'm boring :o

just as indecipherable an accent in print as in life :).
you can get an account in the fitz Mick, and I'm sure the Merrion have a similar set-up. means you can leave your poker-playing tank where you play poker and not worry about carrying large amounts of money around.
