(No resources thread here... maybe this stuff is better suited to the Graphics forums (this more of a showcase place maybe?)... anyway, move it if you want)

Just got KToon installed here. It's a GPL ( = general public licene = open source = free) animation program that seems very nice. It can output to flash and uses layers and keyframes and all that jazz.. only available for linux at the moment but it's in beta and should have a windows version out soon enough.

...just spreading the word. Free stuff rocks \m/

Well, I wanted Graphics as a seperate forum to encompass the computer / graphic aspect of Animation as well as other non-animation topics, but if this program allows people to create and then 'showcase' their animations, whatever they may be, they are welcome here.

I'll take the link for a future -Animation - Programs list- , and move it to Graphics Forum for people to pick at, with a divert here for people to jump ship and discuss it if used.

Thanks Goodshape - And if you have any other Animation Programs that you'd recommend, don't be afraid to throw them up here.

    Actually, I won't move it.

Animation Forum is open to mostly all Animation types, and is not limited to 'showcasing'.
