They're the most popular Irish band in Ireland at the minute outside of U2. Easily fill the Point.

I dont think they will fill it all that easy . Alot of of bigger bands than them have struggled to fill it .

    They are tripe

'The Fraaymes' were once popular amongst the Trinity-esque clique, it was just a fad and any fans they have left now are just hangers-on. They have 2 half decent songs, Revelate and Star Star, anybody who has seen them live will see that Hansard has to prop up the show by filling his siongs with cover versions of other songs

iluvebeer, I hope you had a good laugh. There are a million Irish bands better than The Frames, that includes Aslan, and the real laugh is the fact thet they are actually playing The Point in the first place

Speaking of Aslan, The Frames have a lot to do to equal the 8 or so times that Aslan have filled The Point

Any chance you could shut up?

Why post here, it's a bunch of people who LIKE the Frames and WANT to go to the gig. What's the point in posting here slagging them off? Glen shag your girlfriend or something?

Funnily enough, I thought anybody could post their views on boards.ie, I don't see in the faq that this is a Frames-lovers only forum. I think The Frames are crap and very over-rated and I'm entitled to my opinion.

I do see however know that abusing other members is not allowed so I'd prefer if you didn't tell me to shut up thanks

No, Glen tried to shag my dog once but the dog ran off and collapsed in terror at the sight of his face. We can't even watch the Commitments at home anymore or the dog goes into immediate fit

Heh. How do you know Glen isn't a member?

Anyway, no one's saying it's a Frames fans only forum. But with a bit of common sense, a thread about a gig, and not the band in general doesn't really call for slating the band. It's got nothing to do with what's being discussed. You, good sir, are OFF TOPIC!
