There should be a list of events up in each college/uni, I'd check those out.

Get a few crates, find a gullible eejit who's up for having a house party. Drink your booze at their place and leave when everyone else falls asleep. This can be spread over 4-5 days if you plan it correctly.

    its ingenious..

    Oh come on.

    His/her username is "The Dazzler"
He/she clearly wants a dishco with a daycent dancefloor to strut his/her stuff

house parties just wont cut it, unless theres a decent sized mirror ball and a pole in the corner of the kitchen :D

not to be a party pooper, while all first year students commence on the week starting on the 12th of sept (mon). The actual freshers week does not start till the following monday :)

And Fresher's week isn't for freshers. It's for everyone else.

Word of advice for the young'uns - watch your drinks and don't get raped. And for the love of Jeff, stay the hell away from CPs, Boo Radleys, The Living Room, Kings Head etc. etc. etc.

Unless you're doing commerce or law.

where would you recommend so ?
i love cps , always a great night in there even though it's pretty crowded

been going to cps for 4 years in college and 9 out of 10 times i've had a good night in there
the on 1 would have been the nights i have been sober

CP's, only bad thing is how crowded it can get. Besides that its pretty nice club. But when you have Boo's as an opponent on the club scene, its hard to say anything bad about cps' in comparison to boos'.

Cuba is a far superior club.
    Sound door men.
    Descent prices.
Good auld tunes (Not all of us want to down glasses when Eric Prydz - Call on me is put on "de tellys in de rewf!")

Obviously haven't been there in a while so. Since the smoking ban the carpets came up and everything was redone. Def go for CP, the vic is a restaurant/hotel, tiny and the cloakroom is worth going to see for the laugh. Go for CP or Cuba!!
