Yeah, the animation is sweet alright but the film itself is only so-so. The action sequences are pretty good. (Especially the start) but the story is fairly dull.... Been done to death in numerous other anime....... Still, worth renting out/borrowing.

It's like watching a cel shaded video game, so if your used to that kind of visual then that's what you'll come to expect. As a result most of the characters come off a bit googly-eyed and robotic looking (don't think this style works very well in a CGI movie imo). In saying that it certainly does look nice, just not mind blowing or anything.

While the story kept my interest, I felt it was slightly clichéd and the ending was pretty weak tbh. Characters are decent enough.

It's not terrible, worth watching once I guess.

unless u can see it for free (not condoning illegal downloads. more a case of if ur friend has the dvd) dont bother. its yet another anime which is all style and no substance.

Yeah, I got Appleseed on a US import. The animation is good, some music is funky enough but I found the "story" utter ****, the characters are 3D but their characterisations are decidely 2D. Worth seeing for the visual aspect though (not worth buying)

Its cool. The scene at the end was cool

. The storyline kinda sucked, but it was the sort that you only watch once. Some of the bits were nice, tho. Cool graphics, nice twists, some sort of plot, and some violence.

I saw it last night. The graphics are extroardinary and the story was good considering it was written by another warped japanese mind. Fantastic
