If I could only keep one thing it would be my V. I don't play it much but it has sentimental value and it sounds oh so good.

I think my G&L Legacy...the Heritage is lovely but not nearly as dynamic. I too would be seriously upset at losing my roc pro 1000!

Oh and I found the tone I have been after for years last night at about 8:45. Sooo sweet! All knobs & switches have been duck-taped in place never to be moved again :D ....I'm just praying that my speaker holds out for another little while :(

I would get a Glock 17. That way i get to keep all my gear! :D

    last night at about 8:45.
    - that's some serious documentation, kennier! :p

I know because it was a seminal moment in my music 'career' (and because it was just before Turbo Tuesday on digital) :D

'where were you when the Berlin wall came down?' - 'Dunno'
'where were you when 9/11 happened?' - 'Dunno'
'where were you when you had your musical Epiphany?' - 'In my 'studio' (aka attic) at 8:45pm on Tuesday Spetember 6th, 2005 and it was glooorious'

Ooooh jcoote, you're cruel... Just one item? :)

Hmmmm, excluding my acoustic (since it's not strictly part of the rig ;)...) I would have to say my Vox AC30TBX. Gotta love them Bulldog Speakers!

I would shed many a tear for my Tele, but it's replaceable. The AC30 would be tougher!

Considering I've a ****e amp I wouldnt mind disposing of it. Then My Santana SE would be second to my Sheraton... I love that baby so much.
    It's Berrylicious.

Nah, it usually changes when you break a string. You will curse alot.

"IT DIDN'T SOUND LIKE THAT I SWEAR!"

What exactly are you on about giblet dear? :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,241 ✭✭✭Steven

He's saying that new strings ruin your long-sought tone. Don't worry though, when you break the string in it'll start to sound the same again.

I'd just keep my piece of string. Its tied to everything I own of course!!

Well the amp is no use without a guitar so there out. Probably the Tokai ES100 (355 copy). But it would really piss me off since I just bought a Strat in the US yesterday. :D

how do you get the Chuck Berry tone a la Johnny be Goode ?just neck pickup?

I would have to keep my Nashville Tele coz its sooooo sweet.

My Warwick without a doubt. I'd mourn the loss of everything else then claim back the insurance and move onward and upward.
