    14lbs = 1stone

    1kg = 2.2lbs

    Don't know what this means, but...

    I switched from white bread to brown bread, and cycled for 40 minutes twice a week. The cycle was more or less at a leasure pace, except that one part had a slight slope (but over about 5 to 10 minutes of the cycle). From this, I lost 2lbs a week. Thus I lost 10lbs in about 5 weeks. Thats about, what? Four point something kg's in 5 weeks? So yeah, 6kg's ain't such a hard target. Also, I ain't that fat, and if you have a spare tyre around your belly, this would proberly get rid of it, or help get rid of it.

    If you have any queries, ask your doc if losing 6kg's would affect you. It may do you good, but if your a slim bean, it may not be too good (as you may not have much to burn off).

    Good luck, and have fun. Once its fun to do, you'll continue to do it.

    if you're tubby, its easy to lose that weight, just give up ALL dairy products and bread, do a bit of cardio, that weight will be gone within a month easy.
    if you're lean, you can still do it by cutting weight, ie through water loss, which is very unpleasant.

    I'd also find out if they weight you at the end of the 6 months or so or if they give you ur money back as soon as u hit target.

    and some strategically placed weights stuffed in your pants and into your shoes on the initial weigh IN will ensure free gym membership for all :D
