Anyone know if the Stars Of Heaven will play a few gigs to coincide with the upcoming re-issues on 21 October?

Stephen Ryan was interviewed by Tom Dunne at his recent CD launch and I think it was left open..

That has an authorative ring to it! That's a shame, I never did get to see you guys live, I travelled up to Dublin one Christmas to see you but the gig was cancelled because you'd split up. Is this a no of the acrimonious variety or is it a no of the it was only wishful thinking variety?

The reissues are now available in Road Records, I have them on vinyl but I am seriously tempted.. My favourite song is "Never Saw You" and would recommend Sacred Heart Hotel to anyone as an alt-country classic. Here's the Road Records blurb for the nostalgic among you:

You're too kind, really. It's neither acrimonious nor of the wishful-thinking variety, we're all just too old and deaf and it was a very long time ago. I don't think we fancy the idea of four middle aged blokes getting up and doing it all again, let alone the vast amount of rehearsal that would be required!
Pity you missed the last gig (at the New Inn I think), some of the last few were really good, unlike, er, some of the early ones. 'Never saw you' fair enough, though I've a soft spot for widows' walk and 2 o'clock waltz. Enough reminiscing!
