    ...and if they're still there.
Everything good in Lidl is always sold out unless you want to que outside all morning.
Makes me wonder why they don't just buy more of them.

[Edit] FYI. I don't know if they're sold out or not, but I've been dissapointed in the past, both with things being sold out and some of the crap electronic brands Lidl sells.

Got one of these this morning.

Quite impressed with it so far - picture quality is excellent.

Only problem so far is it appears to be a "Matsui" in "Silvercrest" clothing. The menu system is very like the Matsui, and the Matsui codes on a universal remote work it.

In my opinion, Matsui products are a bucket of s!!t and I wouldn't touch one again with a barge pole. However, the Silvercrest comes with a 3 year warranty.

BTW, my last tv was a Matsui widescreen. Lasted a few months short of 2 years initially and then after a €45 part ( +labour) it lasted another 8 months.

I've a Matsui 28inch with about 3/4 years, works great, no problems.

Bought one yesterday and set it up.
It looks and works quite good.
2 scarts which are very useful and unusual for cheap tvs.
With 3 years warranty it's got to be a buy for that sort of money.

Did you have any problems tuninig in any stations on this ? A friend of mine got this tv yesterday and she had problems with Ch4 and some other station I haven't gone around to look yet but can see no reason why ?

She is using NTL if that might make a difference ????? :o:confused:

No problem but I tuned in from an outdoor aerial.
There's a fine tune facility on them as well, so that should help once you get a fix on the channel.

    Hi s gr
Perhaps you'd be kind enough to give us the benefit of your experience or knowledge of them.
    Constructive comment is always welcome.

Yes, NTL have Channel 4, E4 and Discovery right down the bottom of the frequency band, makes them a bitch to tune in and they are the first to go when the reception gets bad (which, being NTL, it is almost guaranteed to at some point.) I have heard rumours that some TVs sold in the UK market can't tune in to those channels here.
