    Oh my god!

    ...if it's true.

Not so sure about this. It really wouldn't be The Clash without Joe Strummer.

didn't Transplants have to pull out of tours since mr armstrong has MS?

    so doesn't seem likely

The Clash to reform and tour?
(Not sure what percent of this is true)

I would be so cool if it did happen though....

    It would be so good.
I think Tim would be perfect.

(If it is true) I think the best bit of it is the name of the tour. Hints that they'll play more than just the songs from the popular albums. There are songs I'd love to hear even a tribute band play, but expect never to.

It would still be great to see the rest of the band perform. these guys are legends

They could just get someone to play rhythm guitar and only play songs that Mick sings. That would be far better imo.

and leave a lot of the classics? hardly worth going for that. Its not gonna be the same without strummer but it will still be a good one.

Pogues fans liked strummer with them but its not the same as McGowan. Same as the undertones

**** classics. You could get a brilliant set out of just songs Mick sings. And Guns Of Brixton :)

I think I'm starting to like him actually. He just doesn't quit. Joe's drummer is pretty good.

i assume you mean joe strummer and im not quite sure but i think its the same reason that the sex pistols got back together without sid vicious.

I'm thinking that this whole Clash fiasco might just be a dirty rumour......

    More than likely.
Started a nice thread on thumped to get the troops roaring. I've never really been a fan anyway. I only know the well known stuff and that's it.

The Clash has been one of the most influential punk bands to have ever existed. Id say it may never happen though.

How could this be anywhere NEAR good? It's not the Clash. It's some American FUkhole trying to be Joe Strummer. COs you just know he's trying to be joe strummer. And he's not.
