    Hi all,

    ok, quick Q. anyone ever tried the nutrient timing system?

    reading about it in the 'official' NTS book but can't make up my mind if its just a marketing scam to buy their products or if its something that really works...

    Any thoughts?

    it's a pretty new theory that talks about how its not just what you eat its when you eat it, more specifically to do with pre-. during, and post- workout i.e. pre-work out should be prtein and carbs to a certain ration, during the wrokout protein/ carbs to a different ration and then there's a 45 min window post workout during which if you eat protein it's' encourage muscle protein replenishment (very short version and prob a bit wrong but thats the gist of it!!)

    just not sure if its a sound theory or if its a bit of faff :confused:
