Wales with bodies behind the ball, can see Sven changing the formation to up the pressure.

    Possession? 67% England!

Savage is pr*ck no doubt about it , but he is a good player and toshack should know better row or no row.

Absolutely fantastic save from Robbo from a Hartson header. Top drawer.

only listening to it on 5 Live... sounds like Wales are getting some good chances.
England dont seem like they're on form.

Anyone who thinks Beckham isn't a world class player should be watching this game.
he just, controlled the ball with his chest from an overhit pass, and made the most amazing cross with the outside of his right foot, incredible.

Never doubted the man he is such a quality player and I as Man United fan wish we still had not let him go.

(all offence intended for Sven) but England are never on form. They rarely play good football. Actually, they're playing better today than they usually do against a team that's not afraid to attack.

What is it about Mourinho's Chelsea.
Does he somehow train deflections into them.
Is their shooting practice about getting deflections or something, it's just nuts.
Let's hope it's rubbed off on Duff

Lee Trundle is on the showboat every other week, doesnt make him world class.

oh yeah, and England are 1 up by the way.
    Joe Cole deflected shot.
Seems harsh if thats to seal it for them.

Sven has to bite the bullet and drop one one of Gerrard and Lampard (Unless he puts Carrick or Parker in the holding midfield role).
England didn't look too creative today. had a lot of half-chances, but never really split the welsh defence open(except the Gerrard, Roonet 1-2).

    final score 1-0

Yep, I seen it... and you think that should make a player world class? Strange

    A pity for Wales

Don't be fooled by one moment of magic by Beckham, take the long passes out of his game today and he was a total passenger, Earnshaw walked past him at one point, no tackle made or effort to track him back. This is not how a holding midfielder plays. When Wales started to push forward in the last 10-15 minutes, Beckham was anonymous, the only player that seemed to be trying at the point was Ferdinand. Poland could quite easily beat that formation in October
