Car restorers - Dublin/Galway (Rust problem)

I imported a car from the UK there a couple of weeks back but I have just discovered BAD rust under the chassis and even a couple of holes, which will need attention as soon as possible as that section almost certainly would not stand up to any impact.
It needs the rusted part citting back and then a steel channel welding over the hole especially on the rear chassis legs (which may need to be hacked out and replaced)

I’m told classic car restoration places would be the best place to get something like this done – so does anyone have any recommendations for these places?

In either Dublin or Galway, and obviously the cheaper the better as this is an extra expense I didn’t see coming…

    Cheers

Have you tried a regular crash repair center near you.
If they can jig cars straight after a hefty bang. I'm sure they could weld up your car for you especially if you got the necessary parts if they are hard to get.

    You could try -

    Emilios Beetles, or
    Morris Minor Centre, Ranelagh
(Actually, are they still in business ? ... I haven't been up that way in years)

Have a look at my 'Classic Specialists & Suppliers' thread above for more info.

What type of car is it ?
    Any pics ?

    Silvera.
