I have siad this before in a thread but now I will do it more "PC" (although I prefere it my way)!!

THis is not a little mammy isn't here what do I do now place. Yes I know I ramble on a bit but come on look at some of the "what do I do posts"

    number one

    or maybe

    Number two

Number three ( this one takes the bicci IMO)

All fine examples of YOUNG ADULTS with no sense of anything. Do people look down on me for doing this or that and all that jive.

You are in college now and an adult no mammy or daddies to hold your hand through front arch on the first day or change your huggies if you get nevous !!!!!1

All im saying in a polite and nice way is grow up.

    Opinions please!!!!!

Ah in fairness the first one there seems like just a simple question. It doesn't seem like the poster is really panicking about it. Just curious. I suppose you're right on the other two, they are a bit whingy, but what do you care about some worried freshers?

Not really care its just that everyone seems to pamper them oh do this go here everything will be ok its like s session in a support group.

But its just a passing comment

air_vent, i suggest you remove the pole from your arse really...

whats the harm in asking questions,i dont see you moaning about the <Help. Late opening study venue!> post by quad_red, do you suggest that he grows up aswell?

its as though you had no questions when you first started collage, these people just choose to ask here instead of current trinity students they might know, and bear in mind it has been 2 weeks since some of them accepted their offers from the cao and have had no contact

total over reaction imo,it must really hurt you if its spamming up the other stimulating threads such as <where are you posting from in trinity> and <what are you currently listening to>...although theres some funny stuff in there

i dont mind the threads asking about opinions, ie wat societies to join, where to go for a laugh, thats not something you can find out from the tcd website.

maybe its just my upbringin, but it annoys me when people ask before looking themselves. Most of the information that freshers need is available on the tcd website, it simply a case of looking!

most new people seem to mistake this place for an information forum, its not. there is plenty of that on the students union webbie etc. do people really expect us to remeber all the nitty details? no, most of these threads end up in someone posting a link to a website that could have been easily found if they would just apply themselves and look! and anyway, you will learn alot more by looking yourself instead of taking it for granted that mr.x on boards.ie told me this, this is not an officail tcd forum and as such, people shouldnt be looking for officail trinity information, thats what the official website is for!

basically i blame this on a lack of drugs, look at me, you dont see me asking this and that about registration eventhough im in a different country for the first term! do you know why? cos im stoned, and not prone to worrying about somethin that
a)i can find ot for myself
b)official stuff of college, they will let you know!

    so relax........HHHiiiiiiiiiGGGGGGGhhhhhhhhh

now dont mistake this for a rant, just a word of advice, look yourself, then ask, preferably someone officail, who will be able to tell you exactly waht you want to know!

you will learn soon enough when you have to figure what to learn for exams, dont be trusting other people to do it for you, cos t wont happen.

air vent stop being a twat, i doubt people told you to grow up and stop asking questions when u started college.

Keep this up and u will get perm banned. This was setup to be a helpfull form for new and current students of trinity.
