Ok, planning on going to Oz (Sydney 1st), from 14/11/05 til 23/12/05.
Who is best to travel with?
    Anyone got any advice?
    Thanks.

Which route are you going? (via the US or Asia) as that will limit your choice of airlines.

I've been a few times, i've flown Aer Lingus & Qantas going via LA and
Malaysian Airlines, Thai Air and Lufthansa going through Asia.

Malaysian Airlines and Thai Air were the best. I'm not a big fan of Qantas but i think i just had a bad experience as lots of people rave about them.

BA and Singapore are supposed to be very good too.

Whichever way is cheapest tbh!! Got Qantas/aer liongus on Ebookers for Dublin-Sydney via Frankfurt for 974 euro inc taxes/fees.

Few years back we went with Malaysian Airlines. They were the cheapest at the time and very comfortable. Would question serving curry for breakfast though

I booked a return ticket to Brisbane last week for €1022 with Australian Travel on Lwr. Abbey Street (just across the road from the Abbey Theatre).
I'm flying out on October 12 via Dublin - Frankfurt - Kuala Lumpur - Brisbane.
They were by far the cheapest I could find.
Definitely give them a ring or call in to them.
    Their web site is here.

Also my flights from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur and from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane are with Malaysian Airlines.
They are considered the cheapest (and probably the best).

    Thank guys,
Change of plan (slightly) - Im flying into Sydney, but out of Perth, and the best I could find was Trailfinders.ie -
Dublin-sydney with a return Perth to Dublin is eu900 (actual price is at home, but its near that), so I think Im gonna book that this week. Thanks again for the help.

I would highly recommend Singapore Airlines. They are without a doubt the best airline I have ever flown with and I've flown with a lot of the airlines.

Travelled with them to New Zealand and will try and use them if I'm ever going to that part of the world again...
