Link to the exacts. Ultra is faster but not by that much for the cash IMO.
Remember its a lappie not a desktop. You want that much power get a desktop unless yor made of money and in that case i want some please.

    I have the Ultra..

The main difference is the speed of the core and memory. The ultra also uses DDR3 memory which is considerably faster. The Ultra performs about 100% better than the basic Go..

Depends what you consider expensive.. I paid 2,300 for mine and when I was buying it I spec'd up a top spec desktop with a 6800 Ultra and it wasnt much cheaper..

    Slightly cheaper though-right?
You also slapped 2Gb into it if memory serves!

Yeah bought the machine of Dell with 512 and then bought two 1GB modules online and slapped em in myself...

Yeah its cheaper, the main reason being the 6800 Ultra.. The only other differences are the metal top, lights and gigabit ethernet.. The chasis, board, screen and what not are all the same..
