Hi there just doin a bit of home recording at the moment using a presonus firepod but before anything gets miked or hooked up to my pc I have a problem with a slow clicking noise coming from the amplifier. I've tried using different guitars and different leads and I have also tried a different amp but its still there. At this stage I think its to do with the wiring in the house so I'm just wondering has anybody come across a similar problem and if there's anything u could do to filter out the noise?

If you've tried a different amp and the problem persists then it's not the amp, dirty power tbh.

    Hehe

None of you boys live in the country then or you have suggested its a nearby electric fence :)

Now it might be something else but that slow clicking is an electric fence symptom.
You can get power regulators to remove the problem but dont know how much they cost.
