full apology to shane byrne for that gaff!. it was late and my brain wasnt functioning properly. i was still thinking about a play that benefited me in a stt i just played. 4 left i had 10 K the flop is 10 5 7 rainbow and i go all in and get called by Q 6.

I did something similar with AT on a T high flop and got called by Q8o..he hit a Q on the river

Then the same twat called my all-in with KJo, I was holding KK and he completed a straight on the river.

Got back from 400 to make the last two and got beaten when my AJs was called by A5o and the 5c added to the four clubs that came out to give him a flush.

I've decided not to complain about bad beats anymore, I even typed nh in the chat window...see how reasonable I can be when I want to

I'm not complaining about bad beats anymore, but I have discovered some new swear words.

There's only so many times you can waffle on about your AA getting cracked tbh. I'm keeping a running total though. So far 53 times this month where a higher pp was all-in preflop and was beaten by either two undercards or a lower pp, thank god this is the last day of the month.

I only got into profit yesterday after the downswing from hell, and considering I'm up over $600 in the last two days that's worrying for me.

oh and On-Topic I went from 1000 chips 3 handed in an STT yesterday to winning it in 5 hands when I doubled up on each all-in, the coup de grace being my inspired push with 89s against JJ and hitting quad 9's sometimes it's good to be the fish
