I have BBC1-4 but ITV, C4 and Channel 5 are missing from the EPG. However all are tuneable via the Add Channels option. Assume 24hrs in the box should sort this or is it something else?

Yes, 24 hours and see how it goes. Make sure the card is in your box all the time.

Card in since Monday but the EPG still not showing 103-105.

As I'm able to tune and watch ITV, C4 & C5 via Other Channels then what state is the card in? Can you manually tune ITV, C4 and C5 on non-active FTV cards? I would have thought not.

A dark blue 'Yellow House one. I think it phone number ends in 44 so it's the older version. On a trawl of the forum I read that two signals are sent to FTV cards: one for activation and a later one for EPG. Looks like the card is active but five days later has yet to receive an EPG update. Odd.

is it in the box it was supposed to be activated in and is it possible to properly activate an older card ( where BBC was encrypted was it not) nowadays one wonders ???

Card was activated elsewhere i.e. the UK...I don't think that should made a difference. They're transferrable from box to box these days.

I had the same thing with my card. I got mine on ebay. The seller told me it was activated but it wasn't. After a few days I still hadn't got 103-105 so got back in contact with him and he sent me on all the details I needed. Yours is more than likely not activated. You'll have to ring sky but block your number. You'll need the name of the person its registered to, the first line of their address, postcode and phone number. I had the channels before I put down the phone. Hope this helps.

Yeah, that's where I got mine. The fact that the UK channels are manually tuneable holds me to believe it is active in some shape or form....no harm in pinging the vendor anyway.

FWIW I also tried a 'power off & hold the backup button' reset and power cycled the LNB but no luck.
