    Hi,

I am getting quite interested in 3D modelling lately but my laptop is having trouble with large scenes that i make.

The graphics card is a Mobility Radeon 7500 16MB.

I would ideally like a 128MB card and was wondering if i can add one externally?? and if so is it a straightforward process ?

    Thanks for any help

You can upgrade the graphics cards in some laptops but generally only some of the newer models and it would probably cost about half the price of the laptop so like others said you should just get a new one and sell that one if it isn't doing the job.

I have a Dell Latitude D810 which I can recommend because it's very nice laptop with nice specs and I have the ATI X600 mobility 128MB card in it which is good for games and the like. Works well with photo editing too.
