    Hi
    We have a laptop it,s a sony vaio pcg/k15 and when we start it says
    Smart failure predicted on hard disk 0 ; toshiba
    Warning immediately back up your data and replace your hard drive .a failure mey be imminent what can we do about this and please dont say change the hard drive

    Nah, just ignore it, sure hard drives hardly ever fail :eek:

    Back up all your data that you want and contact where ever you bought the laptop from and they will instruct you on what to do with the drive. Most lightly run some drive test on it to find out if its dying!
