UTV sound on NTL Analogue

I've called NTL about the woeful sound on UTV which has been going constantly for the last week. It's just like listening to a walkman cassette tape on low batteries. They offered to send a tech around but I can't get time off. Either way, I told them that it would seem to be on their end as it's happening on all our bog-standard anaolgue equipment AND it had happened several times previously on BBC1.

I'm gonna try get some time off for a tech to visit just so they know how bad it is, but in the meantime, if anyone else has the same problem, call them on 1800 321 321 and tell them 'cos the girl said there had been no other calls about it.

    It is what it's.

Yep, I've noticed this over the last couple of days too.

There's not much point in a tech calling round if it's happening to everyone.

I just rang them and the guy I talked to said that they have been aware of it for a while and believe it may be from source. They'll be in contact with UTV as soon as possible.
