So what do ye think. I mean, I'm sure it sounds nice and is a delight to play but this is just... meh :(

No carved top? What's the point of that? It might as well be something reputable like a Fender instead. ;)

Also... sunburst finish? That's so 1990s.

It looks like someone's half finished project guitar

It is very meh, but then again so are G&L L-2000s and they're sweet basses. Playability and sound comes before looks for me.

This is nowhere near the level of the L2000 (electronically anyway). There's just nothing about it there that makes me want it at all... which is odd.

That's so boring it just sent me back to sleep...

PRS guitars in general do nothing for me. I don't like church guitars :p

PRS Guitars send a lil tingle of wow down my spine... that... that does nothing for me I'm afraid. Wouldnt buy a PRS bass I'm afraid, I've heard no good word of mouth at all.

As I have often said, for the price of a PRS, you could get a custom shop builder to make you something equal or nicer to a PRS for the same price. Doubly so with this bass.

+1 on that. I doubt I'd ever buy a PRS.

At least, not a brand new one.

If you could get one for the price dabhoys paid for his though, for instance...

    Exactly. Pie.

In fairness, if I had a few grand spare, I'd definetly think of getting me a PRS. I think they're probably the most consistent guitar manufacturer around today. This fellow is definetly rather eye catching. Pity about the chreme pickup rings, they just don't look right.

    That does look nice alright.
