Sponsored by Jack Daniels in Craw Daddy 2nd Sept, and fresh from their appearance at the Bud Rising Marley Park gig supporting Chemical Brothers and Sonic Youth , "The Beat Poets" are raw agressive and hugely energetic and have been receiving tons of airplay and have caught the eye of promoters as a band with huge potetial.



By attending, you'll be entered into a draw for two nights recording in City Center studio Creamy Sonic, one of Dublins premier recording studios and 100 free duplicated Discs from Music Matters international. Once your disc is recorded GigSmart will assist in promotion, gig organisation and online sales by hosting your disc in the GigSmart online store which is currently in development.

The Beat Poets will be supported by the raucous Communal who are due to release their superb debut album and are soon to become a regular feature around GigSmart. Opening this night is one of GigSmarts favorite and definitley most talented bands Lost, a redinfined and crafted sound will leave you with your mouth open with soaring vocals, blistering guitar work and a rythym section that will pound you to bits.

Should be a cracking night.
