I worked in Supervalu part time during Transition Year. Work can be a bit boring at times but there was a good few lads my age there, so you won't really get bored if you get on well with people.

Pick up an application form from your local is the only real way of applying.

Ask at the information desk for the forms. They should have a good stack of them.

    Excellent.
Is the pay really as terrible as people say?
Any bad experiences in your time at supervalu?

Bad experiences in Super Valu... I used to work there when I was 16. I hated it. Money was crap (5 years ago... 3.08 an hour), the managers were horrible and the work was mindnumbingly boring. Also our managers wouldn't let the girls wear trousers...had to be skirts. :( I was glad to get out of that hole.

My pay wasn't great but I was under 16 and the place was geographically convienant. Quite a large chunk of the shelf stacking workforce were the saem age and we had a bit of a laugh there. I wasn't really by myself for any longer than half an hour.

    I enjoyed it alot.
