    Hi,

I've had a look on previous threads and the closest discussion seems to date back to Feb so apologies if i'm repeating anything recently posted re this.
I Downloaded DVD Shirnk the other day and worked fine. Have the Audio + Video folder on Hard Drive. Googled for compatable dvd burning software and the two I came up with were Nero and DiscJuggler. Downloaded Jugger as had seen a couple of comments bout Nero causing errors?? Messed around with DiscJuggler last night but didn't seem to work properly. Granted if I get a bit of time with it i'll prob work it out but just wondering if Nero is the most straight forward software for burning DVD's in conjunction with DVD Shrink or is there any new Freeware out?

I'll give that doom website tonight a look later and update if find anything related not on here.

    Thanks.

The standard one to use with it was DVDDecrypter, I'm not sure what the legal status of that is, I know development on it had to be stopped but I don't know if current/older versions were pulled or are still available. DVD Shrink has a couple of options to burn using it.

Pretty much. It's never caused me issues when used with DVD Shrink.

I use Shrink and then DVD Decrypter. It works fine, and does it all in one go. I presume it's still out there, I got it a couple of months ago. I doubt it's illegal, cuz you're allowed to make copies of dvds you own if you're not gonna sell them or show them, just as a backup. It's free too.

VideoHelp is really the bible when it comes to this. You can find anything on it.

I use ImgToolBurn and it's never caused any problems. Requires the NeroAPI.DLL file but you can get this by installing a free demo of Nero - will still work if this file is on your system after the demo expires.

Nero. Hands down. My only resource for all things [legal] burning.

DVDShrink requires Nero to be on the system, so try the trial version.

You could also try the free software

    DeepBurner Free 1.6

No it doesn't. I don't have it. Works fine.

Thanks for the input all. Checked out that Videohelp site and found it useful. Ended up using DVD Shrink with DVD Decrypter and worked fine for the few dvd's I burned last night.. Also think the issue the first time around was that DVD Shrink was not automatically set to encode the files to an ISO format, instead it had them in VIDEO and AUDIO TS files.

Just remembered another one. CDBurnerXP Pro is pitched as a freeware Nero replacement. I've only used it a few times for burning ISOs of software I (legally) downloaded, I'm sure it'd do movie DVDs too.
