Software needed to record tv programs from my tv card.

I currently have WinTV 2000 software to record my tv programs, but they appear on the screen in a tiny window and the size of the file is huge, does any one know of any better tv card - software/application

Any help is appriciated

Try VirtualDub...

www.virtualdub.org

It's free, and has a million options and settings to play with. Combining it with DivX or XviD should give you nice small AVI's.
