Just got me a new iBook and was wondering if there's any good apps for it I should be made aware of?

I've already installed tomato torrent, and a load of widgets. Is there anything else? I would of thought there'd be a stickie for this kind of thing...

NeoOfficeJ - basically a free implementation of OfficeX
The Gimp - basically a free implementation of PhotoShop

What do you want to do with it?

    Replace my PC :)

Basically, use it for music and watching dvd's/avi's, programming, some gaming, and general internet use.

It's well worth to check in VersionTracker, you will find pretty much everything you need in different versions (shareware, freeware...) They even have a widget that will give you updates of new software added.

VLC - videolan for watching movies etc.
    Firefox/Camino for web browsing
Sidetrack for scrolling up/down on trackpad (or http://ffs.sourceforge.net/)

I found tomato torrent to be woefully unstable, try Azureus instead.

iFinance is worth the money (sorry !) as is Cyberduck FTP client.
Skype is a must too if you have a broadband connection. Mac the Ripper.

MPlayer <http://mplayerosx.sourceforge.net>is great for playing media files (audio & video), it can play a lot more video formats than quicktime.

I use Adium <http://www.adiumx.com/> for MSN.

I currently use Azureus for bittorrent, but it's a bit of a hog, I might give tomato torrent a look.

I've found tomato torrent to be great so far. Azureas is a bit slow and clunky alright.
