    Can anyone tell me if there are recruitment agencies in Dublin who place people in jobs in the UK (specifically London)? I am hoping to relocate to London and would like to know if there's anything I can do here in addition to applying for specific jobs over there.

    Also, if anyone has any tips for jobhunting in London please let me know.

    What line of work are u hoping to go into?

    www.jobserve.com has a lot if you are looking for IT work and also check the thread about jobsites. Im not sure about dublin agencies finding people jobs in london.

    I'm not looking for IT work unfortunately. I'm currently working in operations (very broad I know!) so perhaps something along those lines.

    I suppose I'll just have to go trawling through the net! I am hoping to get a job in my company's London office but would like to have at least one other option before approaching them, just in case there are no opportunities available.

    Here's a one i came across in my own job search which you may find helpfull:

    Graduates with an internship completed and interested in moving to London should contact this agency. The agency specialises in Finance City Contracts which is mainly 3month - 2 year contracts and interim manager positiosn in accounting, compliance and credit analysis. Experience is normally a necessity. They have a contract operations, insurance and asset management team who specialises in all ops and positions in investement banking, asset management and insurance.

    In terms of permanent positions they have divisions specialising in: Corporate Finance, Equities, Fixed Income, Credit Analysis, Debt and Structured Finance, Risk Management/Quantititative positions, Compliance and Regulation, Operations, Finance (Accountants for Invstement Banks).

    I don't know if any of those paths apply to you, but hopefully it helps.
