Never had any problems with Safari personally.

IE has been discontinued for OS X. I doubt MS will be updating it ever.

Try Firefox, Mozilla, or Opera and any other browsers.

    Definately try Firefox.
The only reason I could see anybody wanting to use IE is the for large number of websites out there that only work for IE.

You could always use Safari Enhancer to get around sites that rely on I.E.

Only issues I ever have with Safari is it can go down on the odd site with chat rooms on it, bt for the speed and appearance it gives over IE, it's a small sacrifice to pay. Just try log on a site on each browser and see the difference it shows up. Scary ain't the word!

IE 7 Beta is out for Windows already. I don't think they will make a new one for Mac but IE7 will work for XP. Im using it at the minute.

EDIT: forgot i was in the mac forum, kinda drifted off the point there
