In an attempt to try and figure out this evening racing malarky, I have picked the following horses. Given my evening racing stats, all of these horses will probably have a heart attack coming into the final turn for home

    But anyway here goes....

    6.45 Overstrand won @ 11/8
There's very little money back for going with this horse, so I'm cringing when I'm putting it up here, but I really don't think it can be opposed today. I haven't even checked each horse out in this race, but looking at the card, the rating for Overstrand is screaming 'sjones pick me'. This happened about 6 weeks ago when I posted 'What A Dancer' on here, who won by a country mile.

    7.15 Croic An Oir - Nowhere, One of Them 2nd @ 7/1
I absolutely love this horse. It had a pretty bad run last time out, where it came 2nd but was well beaten. I'm willing to forget about that race and move on. Well used to this ground, this distance and this company. The only horse I see with a chance of beating it today is 'One of Them'.

    8.15 Sovereign State - Nowhere
I must be either brave or stupid to be opposing T.J Murphy on the outright favourite in this race, but anyway here goes. Sovereign State performed superbly last time out over this distance to come second to Beaugency. That was Soverign State's first time racing in this distance in 2005, and up until that race it was being warmed up for that distance. After a great performance of taking on that distance and coming 2nd out of 12 horses, Currently trading @ 7/1 I think it is a great each way bet.

My terrible evening racing stats goes on.
