I'd forgotthen that whole, "I thought you where a lesbian" thing. It's the whole i want you bad but i can't have you thing, I swear

*sigh* This is what I was worried about ;)

Honestly though, I had a great time -- much more fun than I was expecting it to be!

rsynnott -- Sucks that you weren't let in, it was pretty jammed by 10pm -- did you try both doors? The back entrance, opposite the Drury Street carpark isn't as strictly policed as the main entrance on Sth Williams Street, plus all the smokers milling around makes it harder to notice someone just arriving. I walked in the back door around 7.15pm and there was no bouncer on it. They started ID'ing people on the main door pretty soon after that.

So when's the next one? :p

    Talleisin is gay? madness
I'm not homosexual, I'm not heterosexual, I'm just sexual.

I was in no state health-wise for a night out but still managed to enjoy myself, by which egocentric grounds I judge the night a success.

I had a good night too, it was nice to meet you people. I'll definitely go to the next one.

I had no trouble getting in and I wasn't exactly dressed up but then I was accompanied by moridins classy shoulderpads :)

I got the "Regulars only" spiele at the door when going in with ajmurphy62 and swiss. Out comes LiouVille. Hurdle 1 overcome.

Next was the slight issue of me being under 18. Fake USIT card out, they 'accepted' I was 18, but still weren't letting me in because it was a student card. Out comes the work ID, without a date of birth, but a big "EBS" logo over it. "Who's going to let an underager work in a bank?" They accepted it. Pity they didn't look at the issue date and realise it was issued a year ago, when (according to the USIT) I was 17.

And I was in there for all of 2 drinks.

A good night overall. Nice to put a few faces to usernames, and catch up with some others from the last multisexual beers.

Trust me, had we been able to stick around a bit longer you'd have really seen how fun we can be :p At least you didn't get coated in fluorescent orange stickers like the angryPotato folks did later on . . . ;)

I wasn't pushed actually and would happily have stayed put, but I wasn't going to let a friend of mine go off on his own... next time gadget... next time...

Perhaps if I had Moridin's FAB shoulder pads I would've gotten him to notice that I'm not a lesbian. They're some MANLY 'pads *green with envy*

But who would be skilled enough to fashion these pads of steel? :(

I want my 'pads to be the best they can be, but I'm stumped. Perhaps we could just raid Moridin's closet when he's at work? :D

    I know... it sucks doesn't it?! :(
I've found the plans to the closet.. If we get past the sharp slicing blades, past the crumbling floor and over the invisible pathway we'll meet a very old knight who is guarding the shoulder pads :D

    How very Indy :D

I propose using a body shield - Louiville perhaps? - to get past the slicing blades ;)

I suggest rotating ownership of the 'pads on a weekly basis, alternating w/e's to impress the folks @ Dakota :p

But he's the man I love... He might get hurt...
Although if we get the pads it'll be worth it... OK :D

Oooh alternating? I want my own :(
We could each take one and stand at a sideways angle near the wall :D
    Nobody is any wiser... ;)

That won't really work for me -- I want to be like Batfink, only with 'pads of steel to protect me.

    Deathmatch? :D

    I leave for an hour.

And the shoulder pads take over the thread.

I am deeply, deeply disturbed by this.

(And anyone who knows me, knows how hard that is to do :p)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,255 ✭✭✭TCamen

It's not too late to come along on the trip into Moridin's closet. Though there's really no way for us to split the 'pads three ways...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 487 ✭✭fortysixand2

Well you can have the pads, I'll work the human shield, how's that sound? ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,255 ✭✭✭TCamen

Hmmm you'll have to ask Boberto, he might want to handle Liouville, especially if he's to meet his end with those sharp blades ;)

Hmmmm the pads mean more tho.... I must resist

Hands off the pads fortysixand2!!!

You can join our quest... Help us discover those traps :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 487 ✭✭fortysixand2

Hey hey hey, I'm the one who's a friend-of-an-acquaintance with LiouVille, Boberto should be asking ME :p

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,255 ✭✭✭TCamen

OK - I'll take the pads and the deathmatch can be for who gets whatever's left of Liouville after the closet raid! :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 487 ✭✭fortysixand2
