Can't preveiew pic's in Windows XP

    I'm running Windows XP but when i click on a picture where it would normally show a preview of the picture a message box is telling my some file is missing

    The message has Rundll.exe at the top and in the body of the message it says that gdiplus.dll can't be found ,

    any ideqa ehats gone wrong or where i could reinstall this file from dont have a copy of Windows XP but i have a recovery disk

    ne help would be great cheers
